Atari 2600 Jr. Portable???

I read an article about Ben in Pop Sci and I started to get interested in all his cool portable products. My dad suggested that I should start trying to build an atari 2600 portable. I went on ebay and bought a 2600 portable. (I didn't know there was two types) ! I Just found out that I have the wrong type of atari for Bens Instructions?

Has anybody had a successful attempt in making an Atari 2600 Jr. portable ?? If not any tips or tricks that could help me ? I am only fourteen and I really interested in this type of stuff !!!!

I think you ment you bought a 2600, not a portable

Its harder to hack down, but you can do it
And you will be one of the few with one like that

im not sure if youd want this, but i have a broken atari2600. i wish youd trade your jr, but nobody would do that..... im stuck with a broken one..... unless you help...
