I have an Intellivision I in the attic I never touch, but I brought my entire collection of 2600 carts down, along with a 1977 Sunnyvale heavy sixer.

Look into something called "overscan" because you'll probably want it. Most video cards figure since they're outputting a full computer screen to a TV, you'd like a border to make sure that everything is visible on the TV. But with video games, you don't really care, but you might want the screen big. So overscan stretches the screen back to proper dimensions. Make sure if you buy a new video card that it supports overscan (and some cards do have composite video out too)!
