360 controller modification - DPAD and cleaning

Post by Arcane »

I feel kind of bad for posting something this simple, but...

Does anyone have any information on replacing the 360 controller's DPAD with something more functional, like perhaps a Saturn, SNES, or N64 dpad?

Also, does anyone have any tips on cleaning cracks/seams in controllers that tend to accumulate dirt and sweat?

For the dirt, use some rubbing alchohol and a q-tip.

I suppose you could replace the D-pad but I don't know why you'd want to.

Because the 360 d-pad is horrible for some games (fighters mainly) and the Saturn d-pad is godly.

It is not junk! It is assorted goods with no current use.

Oh my god, you directly got my problem without me explaining it.

I play SF3: Third Strike and King of Fighters online fairly often and having a great dpad would be grat.
