Ok, hold on for moment. Now just bare with me and don't get mad. Becuase I'm being nice here. And I'm not mad with you.

Ok, You seem like a nice guy. Just a little confused thats all. You got some good offers on the Game Cube you have. And if they bought it for cash. They would be the one paying shipping, not you. And also, you need to know that what you were wanting in return was worth more that what you had on the offering table. And if you didn't want to sell the poster, why did you say something about to begin with? And some of the items you were also wanting to trade. For most of us is little to no use. Now I'm not saying that they aren't bad things. Just not what most of us are interested in.

Now some of the people here we trying to help you and give you tips on how you could have a better chance selling you game cube. You just kept on getting mad at them. And All they were doing was trying to help.

For now, I say you just hang around the forums. Soak in all the info you can here on what type of portable you want to build. And Just start learning.

And as soon as you get some money from either Holidays or Birthdays. Then use that money to start getting the parts you need for your project. But be reasonable when you start parts for you portable. And do stuff like asking the seller how much he wants for the item. If he doesn't have a price listed. Or in some cases, Ask the seller what kind of things he is looking for as for trades. And if you don't have that something like that, move on. And of you do have something the seller wants. Makre sure you have money for shipping. And then after you get all the parts you need. Use the knowledge you have learned being here and reading around. And build your portable. Besides You don't have to build a portable right off the bat after you join here.

So just calm down, Relax, and stick around and learn. And ask for info when needed. And who knows, we maybe even be able to help you get your game cube going again so you can enjoy it again.

Read through a number of posts on the thread in question, I don't see what the issue really is. I have some dead systems and components, handy for butchering for this and that; wouldn't sell the stuff, if I can't find a use for it all I will bin it. Dead stuff isn't of much use to anyone after all and isn't rare, to qualify for cash. As to the value of a GC, frankly, I have three, one of which I bought when they first came out (full price), the other two I got this year at car boot sales, one for £3 and one for £4 (about $6-$7), no stickers, not many scratches, fine. Controllers typically cost about 50p - £1 each too. They ain't worth much these days (give it another 5 years and the Wii will be that sort of price too no doubt).

So, given that a working GC with no stickers can be bought for the equivalent of about $7, and controller for another $1 or so, why would a broken one be worth more than the electrical components soldered to the boards inside the case (ie nil)?

Are you going or staying? If you are going, what has changed your mind (nothing seems to have changed), or was it "just to test the water and rally support". If you are staying, you won't be the first who stays but says he is gone for good (Kurt_ , anyone?).

Dude. You have 85 posts. I had no idea you were even on the forums. You can't "Take offense" to the fact that harshboy thinks you aren't important enough to make i'm leaving threads. You haven't done anything to contribute to the community. Heck, I haven't done anything. Calm down, Jeez.

Almost all of his posts have been in the trading post, trying to pawn off useless junk. So when everyone tells him he isn't going to get squat out of it, he starts saying that we're mean to him.
