seriously is there any site that sells 14v batteries for less than $50??

you can always grab batteries from electronics that people want to get rid of for one reason or another. I always put up a post on craigslist that I want broken portable dvd players and people are usually willing to give them up for nothing or next to nothing. You can go to goodwill and get some cordless phone 700 to 1400 mah nicad batteries usually for $1. stuff like that.
From there, you just wire batteries together to get the voltage and mah that you want. You may not like the size sometimes, but there ya go.
