Try holding the mouse button down while you start it up. (That worked back in ye olden days to make the 800k floppy drives eject.)

Or, unplug the hard drive and turn it on again. It should try booting from the CD, and may eject it when it finds no System Folder.

I wouldn't recommend using tweezers.

1. The disc drive's probably clamped down on the disc.
2. Tweezers won't get enough grip on the CD, so they'll slip and gouge it up.
3. You might ruin the drive.

This might help if you haven't seen it yet:

You're sure there's a disc in there?

EDIT: Try this:

Just throwing it out there, I have a tray loading drive from a g3. Just in case your drive is screwed up.

There should be a hole (paperclip sized) just under the bit where you put the disk in, all the imac G3s I've seen have this hole. (even the tray loading theres one either side of the eject button, can't remember which side)

FYI Sticking tweezers into the drive won't do it any good, it will ruin the disk and your drive.

Hope this helps you!

Joe

P.s Just remembered that this happened to my friends imac (G3, 400 DV I think) when I was installing something no matter what I done the disk wouldn't come out but stuck a paperclip into the little hole and hey-presto it came out.

Yep, happened to me while looking at a slot-loading iMac in Goodwill. Had to BUY the damn thing.

But yeah, there's a paperclip-sized hole inside the slot, off to one side. That'll eject it.
