16? I thought you were one of the more mature members here.

As far as car licenses go, I JUST got mine, a week before I turned 19 (This last Wednesday), and I STILL drive like a maniac. Why, just yesterday, I had my visor down, looking at/changing cds with one hand (visor top = 10 CD visor thing) while driving into oncoming traffic. Well maybe not TOTALLY oncoming traffic, but I didn't want to hit the parked cars on both sides of the road, and a few big SUV's were going the opposite way as me. The scary thing is it totally didn't bother me.

Looks like I still got all that teenage "Aha! I am invincible!" attitude in me. At least I'm old enough to realize what I did was stupid and to try to avoid it in the future even though nobody got hurt.

Drive safe!

It's too bad that mothatrucka wasn't here to spoil a good birthday and ruin somebodies day.

But really happy birthday! mine was 10 days ago but I only turned 14, what state do you live in? In montana you just have to have had your permit for 6 months and then you can get your licence, and you can take drivers ed if you turn 14 before december 31.

It was sort of a joke. It was worded to sound like everybody born before December 31st of any year could get their license at 14, leaving one day of the year (Dec 31st) on which people born then could not get their license for another year.

I assume what you meant was that if you turn 14 before the end of this year you can get your license, but as of January 1st, the licensing age is being changed to 15.

no, that is the age to take drivers ed, you have to turn 14 before jan 1 2009 to take drivers ed in the spring, and then after you have finished drivers ed, then you take your drivers test. If you pass your drivers test then you get your permit, then you can get your drivers licence after 6 months of having your learners permit providing you have 20 daylight hours of driving and 10 hours of nighttime driving.

Looking back I did word that first post really awkwardly.

Thank you! (I think). Mature in actions, or mature by age? I act quite a bit older than I am sometimes, not on purpose, just the nature of the stuff I talk about. Usually, I keep my age to myself, a lot of people treat you less seriously when they know your age. :( Besides, I would not dare be anything less than mature; I think you were gone during my "incident" on these forums (See Gordon1 and my sig).

Don't get me wrong. I love all metal (Ozzy is my favorite though). I just got the wrong idea from the song you posted.

I was thinking the same thing, strange song... :shock:

I sorta wish mothatrucka could come back to tell me how dumb this thread is, then flame birthdays, weddings, and life in general... He was certainly a pain, but he occasionally had good insight. If someone can see if he will apologize, can he come back? :cry:

@SS: Nice pic. :lol:
