the DS sucks

All I have to say about the DS can be summed up in one word- GIMMICK! (please don't quote me on spelling). I mean, look at the features of this thing:

Touchscreen- GIMMICK
dual screens- GIMMICK
tiny chips- EASY TO LOSE GIMMICKS
Pictochat- GIMMICK

Pretty much the only things I like about it are the feel of the controls and the n64 graphics.

I say, if they wanted a touchscreen so badly, they should have made it a single screen. As far as chat software goes, if you want that, buy a $99 Palm Pilot.

Man, I was really hoping this forum would be clean of this sort of unneaded trashy spam...guess I was wrong. Ben's gotta be disappointed.

To end this all...

I have a Nintendo DS. I play Super Mario 64 DS, Metroid Prime: Hunters, Asphault Urban GT, and a monkey-load of GBA games including the whole Super Marion Advance Series. Everyday, after a hard day, I come home, finish my work, and give myself at least 30 minutes to play. And you know what? I'm happy. I don't give a frick about the "Well the psp has a better this, and the Ds's thing is crap, but the psp's whatever is crap". I couldn't care less. I have fun, and that's all that matter's to me.

Where are your scruples people? What kind of thread title is "the ds sucks"? We all need to step back a figure out where we're going with this forum. As far as I can see, it was started for the simple purpose of sharing secrets, ideas and plans of making portables out of Old (and newish) consoles.

I want to say "grow up", but it defeats its own purpose. If you really are that immature, you won't listen. If your mature enough to listen, you don't need to hear it. Just stop posting for a while guys, and try to think. Ok?

I wish I could be a Mod long enough to lock this thread...

the psp dose not interest me its fairly obvious by the title what this thread is intended for you are in fact the one that is immature for not being able to except others opinions on something calling them immature because you disagree I gave my reasons for disliking the systems it was not simply a dis it was my review of it you are more than welcome to give the reasons of why you like it

I gave you my reasons. I enjoy playing it. I have fun with it. That's why I bought it, and why anyone should buy any gaming console. Because they enjoy playing it. That would be the point of entertainment, wouldn't you say?

When did video games get so nasty and problematic for the consumer. We buy, we play, we happy. It's simple. I can't stand it when people try to take this wholesome feeling we get from playing video games (From 2600 to SNES to PS2), and turn it into treachery or fanboyishness. If I enjoy playing the xBox, I'll buy one. If I enjoy playing the GC, I'll buy one. Personally, I enjoy the NDS. If you like the PSP, get one. Period.

I do not disagree although my dislike is not because I like something else better its because its poorley designed therefor acwerd to use

That makes no sense.

The graphics on the DS actually surpass the N64. Not that it's surprising, but it's still true.
