PSOne Portable Question

I just had a few quick questions about the disc slots..

I see a lot of people use the open disc slot on the back, anyone have problems with your hand hitting the disc or anything?

Also, this is my main question, does the disc jump or scratch the lens or anything if you moved the portable back and forth or anything? Since it's being held up in the air and not sitting on a flat surface it seems you would have to hold it relatively still or it would skip or something..

Nope, there ar small marble type things that go over the disk tight which will hold it
It those can keep a grip to make it go a few thousand rpms then it can be tight enough to hold the disk
And if not use magnets

i think he means whether or not you can make the game skip if you bump it. like in a walkman when the music skips.

to tho OP: no, only when its loading will it be susceptible to bumps but they usually have good error protection

I've actually tested that a bit myself and you would pretty much have to be experiencing a seizure to make it noticeably skip. At that point in time I suggest that you stop playing video games.
