No, no...I'm here to let you know what I've been up to, and see if I can get some interest in a TTRPG I have personally been working on for the past 5 years. Only just recently have I started MAJOR work on it. Namely because for most of those years, I've been looking for inspiration. I found it.
Game Development of any type is rough work, I should tell you that right off. You have to think of every detail of every detail. Whats the game? Whats the story? Whats the point of it? And thats before you start doing the math of the project. Its all coding. Just for me, I chose to code with a calculator, and a scrachpad rather than a keyboard.
The games called "Horiopia Prime - 2929" (For now... I've changed it three times). Heres a quick (and mostly unfinished) intro into the game. It'll give you the jist.
Now. This is not a "Job Sim" (boring). Yes, you have a job at one of the factions. But the gameplay only takes place in the Underground where you trade NuZilvverbon (The main currency), "Construx" (Explained later), and even prototype components for...well, everything. Literally. From a plasma coil to the local hooker... You can buy anything. You also fight, hack, get hacked, make contacts, steal information/NuZilvverbon/items/etc, build new items... The list is short at the moment as I'm still working out what does what, and small bugs. But thats the game.Horiopia Prime - 2929
Horiopia. The once thriving planet turned technological wasteland by the highly destructive race that call themselves "Human". Now the largest "World Corporation" in the known universe, Horiopia Prime creates, tests, and improves on technologies used throughout the Worlds.
Its the year 2929. You are a worker for one of the six Corporate Factions. Disgruntled, you start to realize the lies that Horiopia Prime is built on. With trustworthy corporate contacts, a small underpowered laptop, and a run down Ground-Level home, you set to sabotage all of Horiopia Prime. Its not long before you learn that Horiopia's underground is not for the faint of heart, with Rouges and Gangs on every street corner. You also soon realize that you need followers. You need people to work for you. And in order to destroy the Corporations... You need to become one.
Further detail into the building process is the materials. You have three stages an item you personally make can go through; Prototype, Production (You do work for a major producer, after all), and Overclocked. Thus, three main materials; Protoware, Construx, and Ripwire. The Prototype has a 40% chance of failing, 40% chance of working properly, and 20% chance of Overclocking. The Production model works 90% of the time, with a 10% chance of Overclocking. The Overclocked model has a 70% chance of working, and a 30% chance of failing. All reliant on a Dice Roll (one D-100, or ten D-10s).
