Joystick Potentiemeters

Post by Super Cameraman »

This doesn't really have to do with any current gen system, but with a USB controller that looks exactly like a PS2 controller.

Is is possible to replace the four potentiometers in the two joysticks with potentiometers from Radio Shack? I'm trying to make some kind of musical interface with knobs, and I can control FL Studio with a joystick, so I thought that this would be a good project. What kind of pot am I supposed to use?
If you're looking at this post and it was made before 2008, just ignore it.

A pot is just a variable resistor, so one from Rat Shack would work just fine as long as it has the same value (resistance) as the original.
