I know, but that switch is in the front, not the back. I want to know what the second one is

All I cut off was ground, I left small strips of ground along the edges so it should still work perfectly. I have no way to make sure until my batteries come though.

That reminds me though, I bought 15 3800mAh Sub C batteries for $40, as well as a smart charger. Only need 7 of them for the system, so that leaves me with 8 for any other projects I feel like doing.

Update, I got my batteries in the mail today. 15 3800 mAh NiMh sub-c cells. Wired 7 up in series to get my 8.4v, hooked it up to the screen's daughter board and it worked fine. Hooked it up to the Ps2 and it worked fine too, but while I was soldering, the power went out and I accidentally dropped the soldering iron, landed on the board and melted a few of the chips.

In short, I need a new Ps2. Project postponed until I can afford one.

Might be making a Snes portable just to stay in the contest. I've got everything I need for one here.

It is not junk! It is assorted goods with no current use.

Bumpdate: Found a guy yesterday that would sell me his slim for $10, said it didn't read disks. Bought it today, took it apart, adjusted the laser's pot, and it works perfectly.

Project is back on, started desoldering the majority of the ports/testing battery life, It's got a nice run time, 2 hours so far.

I've decided to hold up on slimming the board down, I know I can make it fit into a zn-40, but I want to make sure this thing stays completely intact for quite a while. I can live with the case being a little pudgier in the length department.

Don't worry everyone, it'll still be the smallest fully fledged ps2 portable.

I'd ballpark it at 8'' x 5 1/2''
