Help with ipod hacking

my 40 gb ipod (not photo, very basic) has a toshiba hardrive.
And it recently broke, but the harddrive is ok so is there a way to connect it to my windows xp?
ie. an enclosure?

Yes, just look for a 1.8" HDD enclosure. I might want to buy it if you do not want it.

I am not 100% sure, but I believe that that 8.99 one will not work, it does not use a ZIF slot.
