I have installed it and I'm using it right now and liking it, it's faster and its not as memory hungry as firefox!

So far so good, I'll see how it goes over the next few days.

Don't really have any impressions accept it seems to render pages a bit faster.

Edit: wow this is really light on the ram, 3 tabs 12mbs of ram.

its a complete browser rewrite project based on QTWEBKIT. its FAST and hes working on getting flash support.

Or how about Opera? Tabs, relatively light on RAM, secure, costs nothing, has full support for web standards, passes the Acid2 test... Better than that random crap that can't even run Flash.

This is pure genius!

On the Google Chrome comic, every tab is a separate process. If I visit one website and crap hits the fan, that tab and that only tab will crash.

I'll keep reading.

most of the time i run opera and loooove it but i'll try this out for a while.
EDIT: yeah, i'm definantley sticking with opera for now, at least until chrome has java, flash, and less bugs.

Seems like they're on the right track. Seems at least as fast as Firefox on my laptop with 256MB of ram. The individual processes for each tab is a good idea. I'd just like to have some add-ons, at least an ad blocker.
And I miss grab and drag from FF, I keep clicking and dragging the page to try to scroll.

(input boxes have some display problems, the text itself stays fine though)

Has a lot of support for web standards, but not all. Example! http://kwalty.com, a web browser stress test/jaavscript integrity test, SHOULD resize your window as one of it's stress tests. This is sparse for the time being, but it's a beta. Soon extensions and features will come pouring in.

Yeah, I sent a bug report about the input boxes; it's probably a temporary thing.

I'm still keeping Firefox for Java. It works pretty well, I can say.

Opera is nothing special. Firefox (I use Flock, personally) is better because of the extensions. Yes, extensions can slow things down a little bit - but, as the comic says, just loading web pages isn't what most web surfers and most web sites are about any more.

I am using it to post this, and I am not impressed at all.

And it is defiantly NOT lighter on the RAM, heck I think it is actually harder on the RAM(Same amount of tabs, on the same pages), it uses the same amount of RAM as Firefox if not more , and now when I am typing this, the text starts spazzing when I go to the next line.

Only slightly cool thing about this browser is that it splits the Processes for each Tab.

I will stick with Firefox, until all the bugs are fixed, and I see some truly impressive stuff come out of this web browser.
