LCD monitor for XBOX360 trouble

Post by Huff »

I have a TFT LCD monitor I have been trying to hook up to my xbox360 and it is just not pleasnt at all

I wired a VGA cable to the component outputs of the xbox360
after reformating the xbox360 output to fit the monitor I was extremly pleased and dissapointed it seems that my monitor has a night vision filter
every thing was green :( for some reason Green was over powering the other colors I did not mix up the cable and there was no shorting at this time (6:00am) I am at my end I go rest and come back I re wire the setup the same way but used more contact and then i recieved low levels of blue and red extremly low

I do not recieve any nutral colors black greys white they are all replaced with green and then certain things that are red and blue show up

I dont have a cam but this pic is king of what I am dealing with
the green bird

In order for an Lcd to work with a vga-to-component adapter it needs to support SOG (Sync On Green). Otherwise you won't get a picture or it will be all green. Apparently your lcd does not support this feature.

Just buy an Xbox 360 Vga cable and use that ?
