For the love of me, can't find this song!

Sorry this is a bit of an odd request, but this has driven me mad for years now. I remember it distinctly during trailers for Angels in the Outfield on my Disney VHS tapes as a kid, and now (forgive the political context) as McCain announced his VP pick. Fast-forward about 8 minutes in and you'll hear it. Reminds me of a Randy Edelman-esque piece (he did the music for that Bruce Lee movie, DragonHeart, and some others). I've never been able to find the name of it though!

Anyone know?

Found it, by the way, "Take Us Out" by Jerry Goldsmith.

Another musical great, I love the Patton soundtrack to no end.

Yeah.

A guy at another forum had it in about 5 minutes, I guess Goldsmith composed it for Rudy, at that part where everyone is telling the new coach to pull them out so Rudy can play. I would agree, though, it's quite the fanfare!

The only politics I'll express here are that a ticket of Obama/Biden sure as hell sounds a lot like Osama Bin Laden.

Well I guess we know at least the McCain camp has good taste in music.

Jerry Goldsmith was a fricking GOD of movie scores, from Patton to Planet of the Apes, Gremlins, Total Recall and The Mummy and many more. Worth seeking out!
