No, I don't want to buy anything, but if anyone has working guts to a Nintendo DS (phat, preferable, but lite could work) I need you to do a little test.
The test- unplug the wifi antenna (that's the black wire from a board in the top half of a DS to the back of the main board.) and see if it still turns on.
What I would like to see is that it turns on for a second, and then turns off.
My DS that I'm working on (See thread: Guitar Hero DS Mod) has a broken wifi antenna, it fell off, and then I lost it... I can buy a new one for under $10, but I want to see if that's the reason it's not turning on, and not something else.
EDIT: Actually, it's not turning on at all, but that could be because I don't have a charger and the last time I charged it was a few months ago at my friends house...
Anyone have working DS guts? I need your help.

If you're looking at this post and it was made before 2008, just ignore it.

Do you have an SP? You can use an SP charger.
I have checked before, the wifi is indeed part of the hardware check. Do you need the piece for it? I have one that I can sell. Check my trading post thread I just made for the stuff I want.
I also have batteries, plus a few mobos if you end up needing them.
