Onestation AV out headphone hack possible?

Post by Judder »

Hi everyone

I was reading through the Onestation NOAC post here [http://benheck.com/forums/viewtopic.php ... 1743d7f892] and wanted to follow up to see if anyone out there has done, or thinks as I do that it should be possible to the following:

Making Onestation AV into headphone socket:

- unsolder the AV connectors but leave in place on motherboard
- unsolder speaker wires from board
- get some nice new wire
- solder speaker wire mounts on board to the two mount points on the AV out.
- buy a tiny AV to headphone adaptor plug

Play Onestation games with headphones ;-)

Any thoughts appreciated before I try it...

go for it. but you should consider modding a "Kensington OneStation Elite" instead, they are cheap and readily available, $30 shipped.

some other things you could do is;

-add a GBA Power port. (or 9v port)

-add NES controller Port

-replace buttons with NES controller buttons

-add turbo A and B buttons (probably not possible)

-reverse the A and B buttons so they are correct position (probably not possible)

there are different onestation clones which have all these features, but the quality isnt very good.
