I think he means break up the D-pad ABXY(or equivalent) and the other buttons to be placed anywhere on a portable.

Edit: cracked open.. i can do the ABXY, st/se/analog, and dpad.. but dont even think about mentioning the freaking joysticks

So instead of thinking it ill say it "Can you do the joysticks?"
