I'm not back, just visiting. I finished a project I'm sure some of you will love:
This is to celebrate two things. First, it's a bobblehead to go in my new car (2004 Ford Focus Wagon, if all goes to plan). Second, to celebrate the near completion of the English version of EARTHBOUND 3.

Kurt! You were the first person to respond to my first post when I joined! Come BAAACCCKK! Although I understand that IRL can drain, just coming on 15 minutes a week keeps you up to date, and you can still maintain a bit of presence. I can't wait for mother three!

Just like I'm not mad at you for the misinterpretation of my meaning! Seriously, Look at what I recently posted in the news section: something that goes in the same category. Frankly, I love this kind of stuff! It shows creativity, and devotion to an awesome series!
The benheck forums are funny like that. Most places, someone makes a guitar from scratch, and everybody says "Wow, you made a guitar!". Here, someone makes a guitar, and people say " Wow! You modded a piece of wood into a cool thing that is not a portable! You even hacked it to play music!".
I would come back, but as most of the topics I would post are hacking non-portable items now, few would have answers.
Triton: There's nothing wrong with a focus wagon. It gets a combined 35 mpg and fits any crap I can jam in there. Think 8 piled dead bodies, and still has room for 5 live passengers.
My bobblehead can't sit anywhere in my car. It sucks, but that's life. I'll have to find another spot to jam him!
Here's what I'm currently working on: MP3 integration into the car. As I can't afford a car computer yet. I'm waiting on my Tax Return for that, already have the laptop that will become the computer, just need the GPS and really pimped out expensive screen. (All my money went into getting a car). Tomorrow I make a radio removal tool, and see what I can do. It was meant to be, my Sansa fits PERFECTLY into the ash tray.

Where did you find that it gets 35mpg combined? On fueleconomy.com, it only gets 35mpg highway (and thats the old estimates, which are higher). And only a Suburban, Excursion, or 4-door truck can have 8 bodies plus 5 living. Anything smaller could only have 2 (3 if the front seat is a bench) and still have room for the bodies.
Still not a bad car, we had an '02 Focus sedan that was a decent car.
eh, they have no character or personality to speak of. my oldsmobile can fit like 8 living people (6 comfortably) and probably a good half dozen in the trunk, volvo can seat 5 living and at LEAST 6 or 8 dead ones in the cargo area! plus moar on the roof rack!
of course 10mpg for the olds and maybe 27 for the volvo
