Well, you'd have to make a portable computer for that. Very expensive, and very bad battery life.

Yea I looked into this and it's really not practical.

There is a Mini-Itx board that runs off a 16gb CF card for $155 then add the $50 CF card.

Then add a 7" Lcd that has VGA for about $175.

Then a USB controller for about $30.

Then a custom case. Of course you would need a mini keyboard to hook to it once in a while to set things up.

Then use Tiny XP for a system and Universal Game Loader for the emulator front end.

And then it would only run up to the 16bit generation. To run N64 and PS1 you would need a $190 nano-itx board with a harddrive for about $125.

So because of the price and complexity I said......Nah.

Much, MUCH cheaper solution: Gamecube. The gamecube N64 emulator actually runs all the most popular games 100% full speed, and a few lesser know games. The wii version is excellent, as well.

EXACTLY! Since when does a perfect n64 emulator exist for the GC? Unless you count GC linux and spending a whole day to get the proper libraries to get some open source emu up..but that's it!

There is not a good homebrew N64 emu for GC, but the one Nintendo wrote has been hacked to run most games, much like the PSP psx emu.

I think the wii one is good, I will have to check.

maybe you could try to build a portable dreamcast. There are tons of emulators for various classic consoles on it.

I have heard of those discs...I have one of them...and no those emulators were built only for zelda and games barely work on them, They either don't save, barely work or anything else inbetween, injecting VC channels with different roms works a lot better then the ocarina disc.

No, people haave hacked the zelda emu to run tons of games! SM64, starfox, paper mario, mario kart 64, mario party and a bunch of others, run almost PERFECT! I guess the awesome wii emu is just the GC version. How do you inject roms into the wii vc? I though this was not possible?

Does this look this awesome? I don't think so...Just wait untill MupenGC is ported with actual code and not an interpertor...then it will be wicked fast.

yeah, but that has the emulator built in. for each game you have it'll have an emulator built in. that takes up memory real quick, not to mention it you have to go through a process to infuse the game in with the emulator.
