Question on fixing an old, broken controller

I have a three N64 controllers with ruined control stick springs. I was wondering if it was possible to use possibly a ps2 analog stick and still have it work. I have three to test it on, and would like to have at least one work competantly.

As long as the N64 controllers are third party ones, yes.

Absolutely nothing. Except buy new joysticks on ebay.

Or get some games that only use the dpad, like pokemon stadium.

you can fix your ruined joystick yourself

warp, I used a guide like this and it gave me like 3 days, and they werent even that good. So I took my joystick apart and one of the peieces was so rubbed down, that it could never be fixed. I just bought a replacement joystick and it is very nice. would highly reccomend.
