This is why you move to Texas and carry a gun 8)
Corpus Christi Texas was where this happened. Someone was saying he can't get death penalty because it wasn't premeditated. I don't want him killed, I want him for a personal punching bag. I'd have to get in line, though. a loooooong line. She was well-loved.

Sadly, you are right on that. A friend of a friend was stabbed and killed in her house. Sweet little old lady, and they just killed her. They didn't take anything, though. They never did find that one.

VV, glad to hear your friend's okay. That's good news, at least.

Amen. Though it may be tough to find someone willing to do something like, say, rape a rapist...

Ew....
Just treat them like murderers, much easier.

When I'm old enough, I'm going to get a concealed weapons permit. Probably won't have a gun on me at all times, but at least in my car would be nice.

Or the occasional car-and-horse accident. Those are pretty sad.

Though there was that one shooting within the Amish community just last year. That was about an hour from me, and was the only crime I've ever heard of coming out of an Amish community that I can recall.

Stabbings are pretty normal for me, i live in a Big city

although fatal stabbings arent that common luckily

Although people seem to keep getting beaten to death these days. And last year some twats set a tramp on fire while he was sleeping on a bench and he died 6 months later from the injuries.

Just glad Guns arent legal

One of the many reasons I remain convinced Britain is better than the US. I stand a chance in a knife fight, but a six year old can kill me with a gun. Survival of the fittest gets thrown right out the window. The weak and stupid can defend themselves and breed just as well as the strong and smart.

You can block knives, less chance and dying and if all else fails you can outrun a guy with a knife. Outrunning Bullets is a little harder

There is a small ammount of gun crime, but its usually inter-gang (or bystanders caught up in) fighting. Which is only really in the estates in places like London and Manchester.

That shooting was right down from my neighborhood. I completely forgot about that.

Not necessarily... just send 'em to jail :P (at least, I think that's a :P... there could be more truth to that than I realize)

actually, this isn't really murder, but my next door neighbor was accidentally strangled last fall. he invited his friends over, and decided to have a friendly wrestling match with the their teenage son. Well, the teenager held my nieghbor in a choke-hold, and when he let go, the man stood up for a second, then fell to the floor and died. It was a complete accident which shows that wrestling should be left for the pros, and not the average joe. The friend's son wasn't charged of murder ( which is good, because I know him and he's a good person) , but is left tramatized for life.

VV, you mean the man walked up and stabbed your friend for no apparent reason?
