Making my first portable!

the retro duo slot isnt worth a crap anyway, i replaced it because it sucked so much, it was so hard to get the carts out after you put them in i was concerned about damaging my wiring etc in the portable from having to apply undue force to the system to remove the games! plus i already had a slot wired up to use lol

I second that... its also hard to create a 'grip' to attach it to a portable.. i managed to get some Mighty putty to stick to it and drilled some holes then used screws to attach it to my portable, then put a cover over that

that's weird. all 3 retro duos i've bought have rather loose snes and nes cart slots. i love it. they read the games really well, but give the game up easily.

Mine grips the cartridge like its life depended on it. I'm always afraid I'm going to rip the cartridge's guts out when I remove a game.
