Whats the overall thickness of the boards?CFC Fodder wrote:I recently bought a Pustom 2.5" I've gotta say, it's very nice, with crisp colors, and a very decent sharpness to it. While it's main downside is it's small size, that's about the only negative. It's all on one board as well, which could be flipped down to make it 'thinner' inside a portable.
Beats the crap out of AEIcomp screens for price!
Ill order one if the pcbs are under .5"

Yse but a Psone screen is 320x240 and it is huge with the screen and controller.Dr. KillGood wrote:Because at that price I can get a PSone screen!
A 3.5" 640x480 would fit in a lot smaller space and with the excellent resolution it would more than make up for it's slightly smaller size
When building a quality Portable one must think about more than the price.

For prolonged periods of time, yes. But if it's just an hour or so every so often it's fine. Different amount of time for different people though, if you're one of those people who are always texting on their cellphone, small screens should be fine.Aguiluz wrote:tanky, did you realize the thread is so old?![]()
Anyway, do small screens make eyestrain?
