Don't know what the max resolution is, but looks like a good deal built in speakers, seems small.

This could be just what I need! I'm still deciding on what to do for my first portable, and I don't have a big wallet, so this could work. Can anyone tell me if this will work!? I have a feeling it may require too much power.

EDIT: nevermind! DC 12V

Dude, That screen has been used by a few people here. I think there are ways to cut it's power usage

320x112 resolution. Oh, and the 12v goes into a 7805 so 5v is all you need.

Small screen = small portable. Best suited for when you're working with anything that's on a chip.

Well I mean does it's small resolution limit what it can be used for?

Like a SNES or Genesis could not use this due to resolution?

You can run whatever resolution Composite signal you want into it, but it will have to scale the resolution down to match its screen. (Usually you see 320x240; they're making these on the cheap.) So I guess a lot of stuff would look a little blurry.

NICE! I scourered DX for something like this around 2 weeks ago..this is perfect! Might buy the 3" screen for a quick screen to allow my parents to watch movies in the front while me and my brothers watch in the back with our dual screen PDVD....I don't think they'll mind the small screen up there...and ya this is so much cheaper then ebay...and you're less liekly to get scammed!

I recently bought a Pustom 2.5" I've gotta say, it's very nice, with crisp colors, and a very decent sharpness to it. While it's main downside is it's small size, that's about the only negative. It's all on one board as well, which could be flipped down to make it 'thinner' inside a portable.
