Hmm I have an old PAL Snes kicking around and a 7" Widescreen monitor seems like a plan to me (Puts kettle on).
So I have ripped apart the SNES and the screen (Kettle now taken off as it didnt fit).
Oh look I also have an old burglar alarm complete with a 2500mah battery pack and the charger is working
THE PARTS LIST
1 x widescreen monitor
1 x PAL SNES (on a diet plan)
1 x battery complete with charger
1 x USB speakers chosen for their 5V input.
1 x Case to put the lot in.
THE BUILD
Starts tomorrow pictures to follow
THE QUESTIONS
Couple of quick ones here.
1. I know I need pins 11 and 12 for stereo sound. But how do I get both plus and Minus from these ????
2. can I use the 5v on pin 10 to power the USB speakers ?
3. Is pin 9 all I need to get video off the board ?
4. I am guessing I just need to trace the headphone jack on the speakers into the board and connect my audio inputs there, and find +5v (Pin 5?) and ground from the SNES and connect it to the USB IN on the speaker board. The screen can change the volume via the remote control.
I thought I would check as Bacteria (Excellent site by the way fella and top work) uses a different video signal and Ben's book uses a different SNES.
Thanks in advance
