gamecube powerboard question

im sure its been posted somewhere but i didnt search that hard...is it possible to switch out the powerboard with batteries?

It would take more time, effort, and money than just slimming the powerboard or finding a new one.

what battery would be good to power a gamecube? (price doesnt matter...well only kinda) right now im thinking of what to do, no progress so far and maybe not for a while :(

Search batteryspace.com for a li-ion with a protection circuit, that is 12v and is around 5000-8000mah

would a 14.8v 2200 mAh or 4400 mAh Li-ion battery work as well?
