PS2 Slim + 12 Volts = Yay? (EDIT: SOLVED!! YAY!)
Would a PS2 Slim (7.2V) be ok if I hook it up to 12V?
In a sense, A regulator in it should step the voltage down.

A 7805 that says 7808! 
A little few mm thick black square, with 3 pins on the bottom, and a small thin(1 mm) metal rectangle with a hole in the center on the top. Will probably be placed on a heatsink somewhere.

I ripped open 2 Power Supplies and 2 Car Stereos and I ended up with a bunch of 7805s.
No luckies on the 7808..
