Can you be more specific? Like tell us which part went wrong...?

EDIT: Try this:

Making a Magic Memory Stick won't work. The battery I ordered seems fine -- when I put it in a PSP it turns on.

How does it not work? Did you put the data onto the memory card?

This worked, but only on the Phat. I'm in the process of upgrading it from 3.71 M33 to 3.90 M33.

That one should work. I used that to put 3.71 cfw on my slim. The only thing is when you put the magic memory stick in, the screen is blank. If that happens push [x] and watch if the memory stick led is blinking. If it is, then just leave it and wait.

Ok, that seems to have worked. The Wifi and MS lights are flashing, but how do I know when it is finished?

EDIT: I guess it's done...they stopped flashing.

Yup, I have 3.71 M33 on there too now!

However, I heard you can get updates with System Update on the PSP, but you have to mod it more. Anybody know how to do this?

Just wait until it turns off by itself. After that go to system settings and check what firmware you have.
