This is a kind of old thread, but I say that you use a gamecube joystick. It is what I'm planning on using for my portable also, you decide what name you want because your the one who is going to own it-not any of us! I'm going to use to 6000mAh generic batteries in parrallel for somewhere between 9-10 hours of playtime. If this is your first portable you might just want to go as simple as possible and then if you think that your skills have improved greatly enough you can build another one that has a better case, different joystick or something to that extent, I mean, look at Marshallh his first portable was build right into the n64 shell, and then he conquered the n64 portablizing buisiness with the L337-N64 or L64

new member; NEED help on how to mod a psx controller on n64
I'am trying to mod a psx storm chaser controller to work on a N64, I heard this was the place to learn......try playing killer instinct gold with a regular n64 controller is a B@#ch!!!!! Also what was n64 thinking of putting a fighting game on its launch with a crappy controller.... Any help would be appreciated.....experts, and veterans reply.........
