Broken FC Twin, help.

Post by palmertech »

Short explanation: Someone plugs a 12v power brick into my FC Twin, it dies. It will not power on with the official adaptor. Before I crack it open...Anything I should try? Does the FC twin have fuses?

Thanks in advance for any help.

It shouldn't affect it. There should be a 7805 that regulates the voltage down to an acceptable level... so you prolly just need a new 7805 in there..
Things I need to purchase for my NES Laptop:
1X PSone screen
6X 1.2v 3500mAh sub-C's
1X 1/8'' to RCA stereo Adapater
1X Radioshack repair kit

..yeaaaaah...

That is what I was hoping... But 7805s are pretty near indestructible, right? Oh well, looks like a pretty easy job. I was hoping for a big fat fuse, like the one on an SNES.
