k quick and simple question
say i have a ps2 and a dreamcast which both use the same power cable, you can literally unplug it from one and use it in the other
so lets say i took both power cables and spliced one into the other in such a way that there were a plugin for each system that ran together and ended in one single plug
would this simple of a trick work to power each console individually, without negative repercussions, or is that just wishful thinking?
a detailed answer on why it wouldnt work would be great if thats that case, but ultimately it seems fairly plausible i hope.

Yes you can add another plug to the cable. It'll work the same way as power splitter like this:
