Awesome..the only thing I hate about wood is one side will look gorgeous..then everything else is dull compared it..point in point your wonderful front with buttons...then the border...but it's wood and I like it!

I'm sorry, but I just have to post one more time how awesome that looks. going with an entirely wooden look brings something different into it, and its not cheap plywood crap either. its just good quality wood. I wasn't a real big fan of wood cases before this one.

looking at the innards, it looks like the cart slot could fit deeper into the case. Is there anything preventing you from doing that?

Yes. The battery design is very flexible so I don't have to change the design if someone asks for more battery life. Also because there is zero clearance in the case the cart would rub and eventually wear the cart slot wires down.

If I could I would put it lower in. Maybe a V2.1 is in order that is 1/16" thicker so the cart won't rub with a lower slot

not only that, but now I'm going to have to force you to make wooden carts for all of your games to reduce the contrast between the carts and the console

im going to have to retake all the photos for the SNESp V2. For some reason it just doesnt look right on camera.

I'll have to call off my Ninja kidnappers then, they're just so hard to find though... (that case looks awesome too, Love the contrasting wood colors for the controller)

edit: wait a sec, that's a NES and not an SNES. Ninja's are back on!

Once again, great work Rekarp. I liked the design more the than your MK1. How did you run the PSOne screen on 5volts? Can you share your circuitry? Good luck for the compo!

Thanks c_mon. Actually since the psone screen cant run off of 5V so I used a Ti PTN04050CAH to boost the 4.8 V from the batteries to 7.4.
