Well, I have the motherboard of it somewhere on my desk. This one was not working so I opened it and now I use the NES case as a case for my soldering machine

. Anyway, I have 6 others NES working, and one of them have the new 72 pin adapter.

21,5x13,5x4 cm, I took at Maddison, an electronic store, and it costed me 12$ canadian.

how much can I buy an Nes for (in US dollars).

BTW: Will there be any compatbillity problems with American Carts. on a Can. system? (I don't think there will be but, you know.)

No, theres the exact same thing. Stuff generally changes over continents, not countries.

Hum, I was not planning to selling, but if you want, do me an offer, I'll get an estimate for shipping, and no, there are no compatibility problem, they are all NTSC. Anyway, my NES works, but they still have sometimes the blinking screen problem that can be fixed with the new 72 pin connector. They still work well, but just not as good as my other one. Anyway, I'll think about a price for one Nes, 2 controller, 1 adapter, Duck Hunt/Mario, a gun, if you have special request, just tell. I guess we might come to a price.

Of course, I could maybe buy 72 pin connector and change them. Would depends on how much people would be interested in this (if I get like 4 people interested in having Nes with the new connectors (new 72 pin), I might consider buying some on ebay (that way I save on shipping) Anyway, do an offer, and I'll maybe think about selling some.

Btw, any cartdrige you'd be interested in ? (name it and I'll see if I have it in double).

Don't hesitate to check on ebay though, some are selling NES at price I could have difficulty match. Anyway, we'll see.

Edit: I founded some cheap connector on ebay, I'll ask the guy how much they would cost me and I'll maybe buy some of them.

Back to my project. I have a couple of questions. Ok, so I have one of those screen pad running on 12 volt and one brand new Mega Joy 2 running on 6 volt ( I burned one for some reason, so I'm taking big precautions). I wanted to run this on a 7.2 volt (6x1.2 Volt AA batteries NI-MH 2000mah). If I use the screen on lower voltage, it does a really weird sound so...

I don't know how I can do this so if someone could give me detailled help it would be cool. Also, I want to know how I can use the original controller as the main controller for this (a bit like ladyada). Anyway, that's about it. I putted 2 pictures of the chip I kinda broke. I'm using this one to visualise before opening my other one. Thanks !

For the hip screen pad, desolder the 7808 and jump the input and output leads of it. Then it should run fine on 7.2V

.....just attach the two outer most pins and you're all set

!!!!!
oh, and yeah, it's to regulate stuff at around 12v or higher into 8v

.....(but apparantly, the hip screen doesn't need 8v

.....I may have to pick one up sometime

...)

Think I can pump 9.6v in the the screen without frying it? I'd use the 7.2v battery I have but its Ni-CD and I dont want to use it at all.

hmmm....not sure...I'm not exactly an expert on these hip screen contraptions

.....ask gannon or ladyada, or check out the threads on the hip screens

...perhaps there should be some sort of how-to stickied in the screens thread

....
