Ya know, that's not a bad idea, even if I am about to rewrite the ticket :)

No problem. I dont use ATI so I dont know of any good forums for you really. But you got access to google, good luck. I still think you should go with Nvidia If I find anything, I will post a link for you. I would still write the ticket if you have some of it filled out. Doesnt hurt to get about 3 different sources helping you on something.

ok, I finally got around to write a ticket. I was happy to see that they responded quickly (3 minutes in fact) but now I want to kill ATI! My original feelings are at least 10x worse! The reason? Their response. Their response?

Hahaha  Typical. I find that funny, considering you probably could have done a google search and gotten the same information. Good luck.

well, I'm back from that hellhole that is Windows, thankfully. I was talking with a guy in an IRC chatroom that was pretty patient with me. Turns out I was able to do it by running xorgconfig. The one problem is that now my scroll wheel doesn't work, probably because of the mouse part of the deal. That should be easy to fix, though :D

Glad you got it working :)
I just got a new ATI card and I'm pretty happy with it. No problems sofar except for Doom 3 locking up the PC a few times (a patch might fix it)
