umm... we are. these are projects we are currently working on. you can also see a completed and unfinished project of mine through the links in my signature.

Well, I posted a pic of what I'm currently working on, the only finished project I have pics on is a customized Zoid action figure I did. In addition to all the cosmetic work, I added LED eyes.

here is a little project of mine that is kinda steampunk/ decopunk (i might have just invented that) i absolutly love the style of the 1890s-1940s, the furniture, electronics and everything so what better to make things fit with my style (i have lots of vintage electronics furniture etc from that time period that i use, will fix and use or will make use of to make other cool stuff) than to take a vintage circa 1920s headset and repair and UPGRADE it for common use! i got a whole box of stuff like this for 10$ at a flea market so i figured why not! after a lot of sanding (800 and 1500 grit!) and polishing followed with clearcoat we have some progress!

the original speakers have been removed (im not going to do any kind of non reversible modification to them!) and put away and the speakers from a knockoff set of sennheisser PX200s will go inside and be wired up to work, cloth covered cord and the works! expect pics of the finished product later!

yep! you can see my thread on these in the tactile section as a matter of fact! The thing i love about vintage hardware, whether it be electronics, furniture, appliances etc. is the fact that it is all made with OUTSTANDING quality! there was no such thing as planned obsolescence back then, things were built to last and be fixed easily if they did break down. why on earth would you buy a cheap electric fan from walmart that is plastic and will probably break in a year when with a bit of looking you can find a GREAT vintage GE or westinghouse or century electric fan that is solid, heavy, high quality and will never break, i use a circa 1925 westinghouse electric 3 speed oscillating 12" fan on a regular basis and sometimes run it for hours on end with no problems
