To be honest, whats so good about Star Wars?

Yeah the original trilogy. It's hardly the best sci-fi film ever is it..

I'm watching that right now on TNT. Its not that bad, kinda boring though.

The newest Harry Potter movie that I've seen was the 3rd one. I saw it once in theaters and I now have no desire to see any of them again. And this is coming from someone that read the 7th one in less than a day. I will only watch them if I'm at a friend's house or something like that. Harry Potter is way to easy to read to be made into a movie. I can see stuff like LotR that most people can't even comprehend when reading, but HP just isn't really a movie book (especially a 2 hour movie that slaughters the book).

but Blade Runner is a far better sci-fi film than Star Wars... Ironically they both star Harrison Ford.

Hey man, I tried. Boring as hell. It's the standard good versus evil story with all the same damn cliches Shakespeare was using. Why should I have to waste however many hours of my life watching it?

Star Wars is overrated. People watching them now thinking they are going to see the best movie ever will end upn getting bored and disapointed.
