Arcade Stick. 56k warning

While this thread will probably be ignored largely due to Life of Brians Latest work I will post this anyway.

I just finished work on my Custom Arcade Controls for ps1 and ps2 (and Dreamcast if I can fix my adapter).

Any way so far the only name for the thing is hardcore stick, or Ghetto Stick Model OVER 9000!

It took rediculous amounts of work for something that should be relatively simple.

Now credit were credit is due. Thanks to my Grandpa for new lessons in why patients is important. The originator of this mod is Spiffyshoes.

If you can't tell the Case is Made out of a power box for a house.

The Idea of the project Was to make a Cheap and DURABLE Arcade stick. Due to the casing I believe it is durable enough to survive my temper for a while.

Here it is closed and ready for use.

Pretty nice, man! Though I'm still waiting for the Dreamcast/Arcade stick portable...

Actually you could consider this part one of that very same project.

It depends who you are. For me it fits comfortably on my lap and is the perfect height. Also it weighs enough not to move much when I play, which is a major problem for many expensive commercial Sticks. No it will be just a controller till I turn it into what CTF just said.

Good point, the plastic ones do have a tendency of squirming around.

I've played with it personally, and it works just fine. I still stand by my statement that you should have at least done somthing with the start/select buttons.

I'll be replacing them with some nicer buttons from radio shack on friday. I will probably buy the switches the holes were drilled for.

Pretty nice arcade controller. You really should clean up how you have the wires soldered to the controller board, but if it works you don't have to.

Man even you're making me look lazy. I need to go out and buy a graphics and get working on that supergun. I'm feeling left out.
