Is cartridge pin 48 important

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

is this pin important. It snapped of while I was looking at the cartridge port. Thanks in advance!

Different cartridge pins are used for different games. A couple of games might work without it and a couple of games won't. My advice is to try and get the pin back even if it means making your own replacement.

Look around for a pic of the cart slot, I believe there is one that sohows the 12v, 3.3v and gnd pins that can be bridges. If your lucky, then it might be one of those. IT was either on the wiki or in the info topic.

Well, I believe that I found a cartridge slot. Gordon1 is willing to sell me one I believe. Thanks for the information though!
