So to fit this thing in my case i was cutting off the digital av out port and the other port next to it, whatever it is (not the analog av port). Everything was going fine, but really slow. So I put it gently in a wood grip vise. The cutting went a lot faster, but as I took out the board some small components stuck in the wood. I'm not sure but I think they are smd fuses, one larger one and nine tiny ones. The larger one could probably be soldered back on, but there is no hope for the smaller ones. Is there still hope? These are only protective fuses so if I just solder between the connections it would still function, right? Maybe?

Hate to bring bad news but those aren't fuses.

hmmm... looks like I'm going to be taking a break from this project after wrecking a screen and gc mobo. When I got into this project I thought I could just take apart and rewire... turns out things can go wrong.

if anyone ever needs an extra gc component, like a controller board or regulator board, i'll ship for cheap.
