I have a gc regulator board working fine, well not really the 12v output of the regulator board dont work. (I fried with an accidental short
Like gamevelver did, I wired the 12v (for sound) pin of the main mobo outside of the regulator board (it will be feed directly by the 12v oficial gc ac/dc converter, I tested safe cause the oficial gc ac/dc converter output also 12v, so it is safe. and it works fine with sound.
well, now is the trouble, when using batteries of more than 12v
my batteries are 14.8V (the label text)
But I tested it with a multimeter and i got arround 16,5v.
the other voltages output by the gc regulator board doesnt care, cause the regulator board will do his job fine, but the 12v pin (in this case will be arround 16v)
will be safe to input it for sound?
I know gamevelver is powering his gamecube sound directly with 14.8, but im not sure if 16v will be safe.
my tv also run at 12v (well the label ask it accept voltages 10-15v) so i think it will support it cause it would have a linear reglator built in or something)
but about the gc sound im not sure.
can you give me any advice/info mates?

I have arround 4 gc ac-dc converters. and oe of them have the connector broken, so I was wondering if there is any kind of dc lineal regulator (something with 3 pins, one to +, one to ground and one with the output regulated)
if is posible I want to regulate the battery voltage also for the 12v, its NOT very proffesional let try luck to the half of my project
