Is there anywhere to purchase a SNESp?

Post by blashco »

I am sure there are dozens of these topics a day, but I did not see any on the first page so here I am.

If you yourself are willing to sell, email me at blashco@gmail.com

I have absolutely no idea how many hours it takes, how much all the equipment is, etc and I know for a fact I do not have the ability to do the work.

I can ship an snes or whatever if the price is with in my range.

Thank you, and hope to not be bothersome.

Have a nice day.

Well it all depends on the quality, but I am working for another month making money I am not going to spend on anything else.

300 would probably be all it's worth to me, preferably less, but I understand this is a very specific and rare ability.

And SNES is probably the best system ever.

I still am not 100% on the whole thing, but I am definitely considering it very much.

Just to throw it out there, as it can make a difference, not so much in price but in size, would you prefer a clone SNES, or an original/mini type?

well i dont really know the jargon that comes with bootleg portable consoles, but i would rather have it be able to fit in my hands. I know the desire to have it fit in a cargo pocket is probably unheard of or unrealistic, so just a practical size.

But if you can better explain I can better answer. Thanks.

What he's asking is if you're okay with a non-Nintendo brand console. The biggest advantage of using a non-Nintendo is the smaller size. Someone might be able to get it small enough to fit in your pocket with that kind of SNES. However, the biggest disadvantage is that the clones are not always 100% compatible with the SNES games.

oh, well i am not using too obscure of games

probably the most obscure (or cult) game i have is Out Of This World.

Then I have all the square, konami and rare games (a few capcom in there too). Mainly the popular games.

So if those all work then I do not mind. But like I said, size is not the biggest worry. If a few square inches is 50 bucks more then I'd say "screw it"

Sorry, maybe I should have done my research haha.

May I recommend reading at least the first post of this thread? Chev's done some amazing research on the Retro Duo, which is the best SNES clone out there. She's got a very thorough list of compatible games. If you read through that, it'll give you an idea of what to expect.

well i assume those are just the games they tried (FFII and FFIII were not on the list, but im sure they work because those are some of the most popular games on snes)

i trust you guys (you obviously know more than me) and if you feel it is the best bet and that my games will work then i'd go with whatever is easiest (which seems to be the knock-offs).

If I remember right, the most popular games that didn't work on any of the clones are Super Mario RPG and Kirby Super Star. FF2 and 3 should work fine.

Ok that sounds fine. I own those but they aren't really favorites of mine.

So I know my ill-informed self is not very relaxing, but if anyone is truly considering doing this, please PM or email me at blashco@gmail.com so we can get the details squared away.

Thanks again.
