Flat screen TV issue

I have a Flat Screen Sony TV and it has this area that is yellow. It is just this certain area. and when the screen is white you can clearly see where the yellow is. How do i get rid of this yellow area that seems to be burned into the screen?

LCD or plasma? If its plasma, have you had anything displayed in that area for a long time? Plasma TVs can get images burned into them if there is a stationary image being displayed to long (such as health indicators and logos).

its an LCD. Here is what it looks like and you can clearly see the area with the color problem.
