WTB:Laptop HDD 60 GB+

I just got yet another broken xbox (not my fault this time!) and I get a dirty disk read error so I'm wondering if anyone ha a spare DVD drive for sale. I would prefer a Samsung drive but I wouldn't mind another one

nope, original xbox. I'm loking to pay whatever their worth. I got one for $20 but they may be worth more than that

I have one. It's an original THompson drive. I ended up swapping it out of my XBOX because it abruptly went to a DDE and I wanted a faster drive in there anyways. i bet you could get it to work with a simple cleaning.

No thanks, I think I got the thompson drive I have working so now I am looking for a cheap modchip for my other xbox like a aladdin advance XT or something

good luck, most places have stopped selling Xbox Modchips.

Just get a copy of Splintercell and a USB flash drive and a USB to Xbox adapter and softmod it, all a modchip would allow you to do it switch back for Xbox Live.

No, I messed this sucker up good! The EEPROM is erased or something and the only way I can get it to work is a modchip. While I was cleaning my Thompson drive I was also being a retard and I messed up my copy of GUN pretty good

EDIT:I have hijacked my own thread! I am now turning my interest to a Laptop HDD that is 60 GB or more. If you have a smaller one PM me and I will think about it.
