As far as testing vieo input on it, I do know you can hack apart or cut off and strip the connector on the xBox end. The Composite wire is yellow, left audio white, and right audio red. Ground is the rest of the wires (bare wires, in the connector they are soldered together and have an additional wire pigtail).
Be careful before determining that it is dead. Wehn you plug it into a power source and flick the switch you will notice the screen get slightly darker (if it isn't hooked up to an xbox.
I have a Zenith xBox screen taking input from an Atari 10 in 1 device right now and it does so fine, so you can probably hook it up to almost any system.

K i need help quick! my portable 64 is almost done! i only need help real quick with the power for my screen. You know the plug that attaches the screen to the little stand that hooks onto the xbox? All the little wires attachd to that go to the 64 but the big red and black ones, are they the power or should i go by harshboys diagram? if i could get a reply soon i would be very happy thank you!

I hooked the power up to the red and black that was hooked up to the big plug on the bottom and it powered on but it kinda like whined and some of the wired on the board itself started to burn so im guessing its broken now
