Computer help
not a big computer guy but I trying to built one I want to make it fast and vista enabled my question is * ps building off of another pc* if I replace the mother board could that just be the end of it or do I have to change something else.

If you want a computer that's faster than your current one, replacing the motherboard isn't gonna do it. It is important to get a good motherboard when building a computer, but the speed will come from your CPU, your RAM, and your video card. For Vista, you'll probably want at least 2 GB of RAM.
edit: these days, a good processor will be 3 GHz+ if its a single-core and 2 GHz+ if its a dual-core.
I can't give good video card advice until I know what you plan to use your computer for (because gaming a video editing take much stronger video cards than other stuff)
