Quick Firefox 3 question

Post by Aguiluz »

When you have multiple tabs open and press the "X" button, it asks if you want to close multiple tabs. I somehow, accidentally of course, set it not to warn me again. Never a week passes without accidentally pressing X and losing all the pages. :(

Is there a way to bring that warning back? I fiddled with the settings, nope nope...

Go to Tools, Options, then at the top pick Tabs. Check off the box that says "Warn me when closing multiple tabs".

Okay...

After punching in the address bar, I saw a "This might void your warranty!" screen. I never knew firefox has a warranty...

Anyway, I found "browser.tabs.warnOnClose" value and changed it to "True."

Problem solved. Thanks.

+1. That's the easiest method.
