Different Portable TV Screens

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Different Portable TV Screens

Post by Preparation H67 »

I want to use a different portable tv for the screen and I was wondering if the screen mod works the same as the casio tv and if not how do I figure out how to do it. It is a similar Tv that runs off of 4 AAs and is an old portable unit and as far as i know the screen still works as is.

Does it accept video input?

no, but if that only makes it more difficult I can deal with it.

If it can't accept video input, then it can't be used. At least, not without a few years of university education.

you could potentially use it if you had an RF signal you wished to feed it (say an old system with an RF output like a NES or SNES). of course the TV tuner would have to be in tact, but it could potentially be used if you're creative and have the room for it.
