Mass MD5/confirm copy utility?

Well I just recently bought a 1TB drive (on sale at Bestbuy for $180, woot), and I'm in the process of transferring all my junk from various other hard drives onto it. However, I have noticed some problems with a few files getting corrupted and other such stuff after transfer, but most of them are fine. Is there a utility that anyone knows of that I can use that can calculate MD5's of two supposedly the same folders and compare them to make sure everything is indeed copied over perfectly?

If you're on windows or dos you could use the "fc" (file compare) command. It don't think it'll work recursively on folders (that is, it won't go to folders within folders) but it may prove useful.

You could archive everything into a bunch of archives, then run an MD5 check on them. Not quite as convenient as a fully automated utility, but it's at least a partial solution to your problem...
